Soheil Khan secures conviction in historic sexual abuse case

Soheil recently prosecuted a defendant charged with 12 sample counts of rape, as well as other historic sexual offences, committed against the defendant’s two step daughters from separate relationships, over a protracted period.

The case involved presenting the evidence of 4 young witnesses, many ABE interviews, and a substantial amount of evidence undermining the victims’ credibility.

The trial lasted 7 days at Bradford Crown Court, resulting in convictions on all counts, and a sentence of 21 years’ imprisonment.

The case has received considerable local press coverage.

As well as having a busy defence practice, Soheil is a Grade 4 prosecutor, and is included in the panel of Grade 4 RASSO prosecutors.
