Abdul Iqbal QC defends in Operation Casebox, terrorism case at the Old Bailey

Abdul Iqbal QC of Park Square Barristers, leading Sanjeev Sharma recently represented Syed Choudhury who faced terrorism charges at the Central Criminal Court. The defendant was actively engaged in seeking to travel to Syria to wage warfare with the proscribed group “ISIS”.

The defence successfully argued that the defendant should not receive an indeterminate sentence. The case received widespread national press coverage including the BBC and the Guardian.
