Barnard Castle killer jailed – Mark McKone KC prosecutes, Peter Moulson KC and Shaun Dryden defend

The defendant Stephen Ansbro murdered Jane Collinson in March this year.

Ansbro had pleaded guilty to murder in May and yesterday at Newcastle Crown Court he was jailed for life and sentenced to a minimum term of 18 years.

Mark McKone KC prosecuted the case.

Peter Moulson KC led Shaun Dryden for the defence.
