Addressing the Key Points of Inquests Into Hospital Deaths

Assistant Coroner Lorraine Harris and Judy Dawson will be discussing the value of the Pre-Inquest Review hearing, tackling the issue of reports to prevent future deaths, findings of fact and conclusions plus when Article 2 Inquests are engaged.

Judy Dawson

Judy represents both families and corporate clients at inquests, utilising her technical knowledge in clinical negligence and her detailed cross-examination skills in a sensitive manner, necessary to secure the best results.

Lorraine Harris 

Lorraine has recently been appointed assistant Coroner and sits at the Coroners Court at the East Riding of Yorkshire and Kingston Upon Hull. Lorraine holds one of the only qualifications to encompass coronial law. Her years of experience in investigating death and dealing with the coroner’s office sets her apart from others practising in these areas.
