The defendant company were heating engineers and had been operating for fifty years with an unblemished record. They pleaded guilty to breaching sections 2(1) and 3(1) of the Health and Safety at Work etc. Act 1974 in relation to work undertaken at a school in Chester Le Street to install a new heating system.

Kate Bisset represented the mother of Steven O’Neill in a 4 day inquest at the Harrogate Pavilions. Steven died in the River Ouse in April 2021, during a two week period in which 5 people died in the river.
The defendant Ashley James Lloyd pleaded guilty to attacking two women 4 days into his trial at Leeds Crown Court.
